SVP MANIFOLD FEATURES:
All SVP Manifolds are fabricated using Pyrex glass. Pyrex provides a
stronger, more durable structure and allows more compact and intricate
fabrication designs than soft glass. Borosilicate glass (Pyrex) has
superior outgassing properties compared to soft glass, metals and
metal surfaces. Each component is ultrasonically cleaned, oven
annealed to eliminate structural stress, which is a normal function of
the flame working process, and rigorously vacuum checked.
MODULAR DESIGN - SVP Manifolds are designed with adaptability
and user set-up preference in mind. Every SVP manifold can be
installed for either
pumping. With the addition of optional components our manifolds
can be expanded to a
system for alternate pumping from one side to the other, or use
both sides simultaneously.
Manifold options such as various types of debris traps, pumping
attachments and vacuum gauge stopcock can be easily added at any time.
Our modular designs and custom fabrication capabilities allow our
manifolds to be custom tailored to meet the needs of your particular

glassware and manifold components in-house.

level of quality control. Our O-ring stopcocks and connectors are
rated for High Vacuum use down to vacuums of 1 x 10-7
METAL GAS CANISTERS OR GLASS GAS FLASKS – SVP offers five
more than any other equipment manufacturer. Manifolds are normally
supplied with two each
Level 1 Gas Delivery
but may be ordered with any of the Gas Delivery Systems available.
Each type of Gas Delivery System - metal valves or glass stopcocks -
connect to the manifold through the use of our Threaded Glass
and are easily interchangeable.
EASY MAINTENANCE - Glass construction, O-ring stopcocks &
connectors and modular design mean the manifold system can be easily
disassembled, cleaned, serviced and maintained when needed. The entire
manifold system can be disassembled for cleaning in a mater of
minutes. Further, the effectiveness of the cleaning process can be
